DescriptionA family record sampler, displaying a floral border and wreath cartouche surmounted by birds surrounding the wedding date of the maker's parents. Blocks of text, some enclosed, detail the names and birthdates of the parents and seven children. There are two verses stitched in the bottom left and bottom right of the sampler. The bottom register is a symmetrical composition of flowers, baskets and a decorative urn. Thread colors are green, black, brown, blue, pink, and white.
