BibliographyBolton & Coe DescriptionThis "Family Record" stitched by Elizabeth Curtis in Beverly, Massachusetts details the birth and marriage dates of her parents, the death of her father in the West Indies, and the birth dates of herself and her siblings interspersed with aphorisms relevant to death and child-rearing. The sampler is bordered by a grapevine. Stitches employed are hem stitich, satin stitch, cross stitch, lazy-daisy leaves on outline stitch. Colors are primariy black and green.
