The row of vowels, decorative floral queen-stitched dividing line, verse, sawtooth dividing line, inscription and building are flanked by two evergreens and large multi-floral vines rising that meet in the middle top of the composition. The green silk ribbon bordering the sampler is a feature of Pennsylvania samplers.
