DescriptionMargaret Hall's sampler, worked c. 1825, is a multicolored alphabet sampler, with three samplers and number sequence worked between 8 distinct dividing lines within a simple border. The maker has stitched her name as M. Hall. Stitches employed include cross-stitch, eyelet stitch and rice stitch in green, blue, black, brown, and pink.
