ProvenanceLinda Ford Wallace CollectionDescriptionA Quaker style sampler in black, blue and tan threads displays 5 alphabets and number sequence 1 - 29 separated by eight dividing bands above an instructive verse. Stitches are cross stitch over both one and two threads, eyelet, and four-sided stitch. An octagonal cartouche displays the maker's name and date. Thread colors are blue, black, brown, and tan.
