DescriptionWorked in red, blue, green, pink, yellow and brown, Teresa Fitzpatrick's sampler displays a variety of bold motifs, including an Adam and Eve, Adam & Eve with apple tree flanked by two trees with shamrock shaped leaves, a labeled Temple of Jerusalem, Solomon's Gatehouse, locks, a monstrance, a center hall house, a cipher incorportaing a cross into IHS, birds, mock flame stitch trees, and a series of initials. Gloria In Excelsis is stitched across the top and the inscription across the bottom.
