DescriptionA Colonial Revival style sampler featuring traditional motifs drawn from 18th and 19th-century samplers: a number sequence, a shepherdess, confronting birds, an aphoristic verse, and a formal border. The pattern is from an as-yet-unidentified pattern company and is probably an iron-on or heat transfer. A sampler of the same design was seen on eBay, signed and dated by the stitcher as 1934.
