DescriptionA signed and dated long band sampler worked in silk (and possibly some linen?) threads on linen. The top half consists of 5 large bands and 10 decorative dividing bands. The inscription panel includes an alphabet and possibly two initials or ligatures. Below are 8 bands of needlelace. The sides are hemstitched. Colors are greens, blues, creams, and pinks.
