InscribedJesus permit thy gracious name to stand, / Worked by the effort of my youthful hand, / And while my fingers o’er this canvass move / Engage my wayward heart to seek thy love / With thy dear children let me share a part, / And write thy name thyself upon my heart, / That there engraved it may preserve from sin / And keep me spotless quite and pure within / Philena C Bedell
