DescriptionThis sampler from Berwick or Kittery, York County, Maine, displays 3 alphabets and 2 number sequences separated by 8 dividing bands. In the lower register are two rows of birds and a lion interspersed with diamonds of various sizes. A basket and flower arrangement centers the bottom row. Colors are brown, yellow, green black and blue. Three initial in the lower left corner are possibly those of a teacher. Berwick or Kittery, York County, Maine
