DescriptionA charming small sampler with a verse celebrating familial affection and duty above a domestic yard centered on a red brick, hip roof, central hall house, a picket fence with a pink nose black cat, and trees with red birds - one nesting. Below the dividing line which forms the ground for this scene. The inscription is semi-enclosed in an arcade band topped by confronting birds worked in red, white, blue, green and black chain stitches of silk thread and flanked by fruit trees.
