DescriptionAn alphabet sampler cross stitched with 3 alphabets and a number series separated by 7 dividing bands above a framed inscription identifying the maker's name and date of birth. In the bottom register are two trees, one evergreen, the other with fruit and a perched bird, and two birds atop strawberries. Simple carnation borders on either side, a foliage border at the top and hemstitching of all edges complete the composition. Thread colors are green, white, blue, and black.
