DescriptionAutographed letter, signed in ink by SR Gifford to his niece, on her day of birth. In full: "Mr. S. R. Gifford presents his compliments to Miss Edith Wilkinson, and is delighted to hear of her safe arrival. He hopes that she will like the country, and that she will live in it a long and happy life. To her proud and happy mother he sends his love and felicitations. / 51 West 10th St. / April 10th, 1868."
