Caroline Nixon was born March 21, 1811, the youngest of two sons and two daughters of Maria and Henry Nixon. Her baptism was recorded July 19th 1812 in the records of the Episcopal Diocese of Philadelphia. She married Doctor Robert Morris, son of the Revolutionary leader, Robert Morris, Rector of Christ Church in Philadelphia and Bishop of the Philadelphia Episcopal Diocese. Caroline died at the age of 26 and is buried in the burial ground of Christ Church Philadelphia.
