DescriptionA woman, Elizabeth Borden Collins, in a black dress with a white lace fichu and collar holds her infant daughter Phebe, who wears a white dress with a blue ribbon at the waist. An untied blue ribbon around the woman's neck matches that of her daughter's. They are both shown from the waist up and are set against a plain dark background.
