DescriptionA depiction of the biblical scene of Mary, Joseph, and the infant Christ as they fled to Egypt to escape King Herod. Mary is shown holding Christ in the lower right with Joseph below them as they sit in a landscape of ruins in the foreground and an archway behind them. Also in the background are a donkey, several other figures, stone buildings, and trees far in the distance.
