This exhibition was in conjunction with the Africana Studies Program, the Film Department, and the Office of the Dean of the Faculty. It formed a graphic retrospective of the works of director Spike Lee and chronicled the twenty-year journey of America's most prominent African-American director. From his feature length film debut, "She's Gotta Have It" (1986) through his profound television documentary, "When the Levees Broke" (2006), Spike Lee's provocative insight into social and political issues continues to redefine filmmaking.

There are works that appeared in this exhibition that were loans to the Loeb and therefore do not appear on this website.
