InscribedTranscription: HIC EST ILLA SITA | POLLIA C L CHRYSIO | QUAE FUIT FEMINA | [S]ANCTISSIMA Edited Text: Hic est illa sita | Pollia C(aii) l(iberta) Chrysio | quae fuit femina | [s]anctissima. Translation: Here she lies, Pollia Chrysio freedwoman of Gaius, who was a most upright woman.
DescriptionFrom Praeneste. Left edge broken; one letter missing or partial at beginning of each line; remains of later plaster on sides and back; writing field with plain border; evidence of a nail hole started but not finished. Reverse was prepared as tabula ansata with partial relief and guidelines
