RECENT ACQUISITIONS

Vassar College has actively collected art since before opening its doors to students in 1864. Since then, the collection has grown thanks to gifts and purchases largely made possible by the generosity of alumnae/i and other collectors supportive of the Art Center. Every year, the Art Center welcomes to its holdings additions of paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, photography, and new media. This page updates regularly with highlights from our most recent acquisitions.
